OLIVIER BIZON, co-founder, Chairman of the Board.

Olivier Bizon began his career as a financial advisor for institutional clients with Paribas (Suisse) SA. Between 1992 and 1995, he worked at Credit Suisse Private Banking as an investment manager for private clients. He returned to Paribas (Suisse) SA in 1995, heading up the private clients division for Switzerland. He was appointed a member of Senior Management at that time and subsequently became a member of the Private Banking Executive Committee in 2000. In 2001, he joined Ferrier Lullin & Cie SA as Managing Director and became a Member of the Executive Board six months later as Head of Private Banking for the bank. In 2005, he was part of the executive team that sold three private banks and a specialised asset manager (SBC Wealth Management AG) to Julius Baer.

In 2006, he left the bank to co-found 1875 FINANCE as Managing Partner and Vice-Chairman of the Board until 2016 when he was appointed Chairman of the Board.

DIDIER DE MONTMOLLIN, Vice-Chairman & Secretary of the Board.

After graduating as a lawyer in 1983, Didier de Montmollin undertook a traineeship in the US. He became a legal advisor to the Swiss Bankers Association in Basel. In 1986, he joined Geneva law firm Secretan Troyanov, of which he became an Associate in 1992.

ERIC SARASIN, Board Member.

Eric Sarasin has a 30-year track record in Banking at Morgan Stanley, Pictet & Cie, Citibank, and of course Bank Sarasin (Today Bank J. Safra Sarasin).

At Bank Sarasin, he held various senior leadership positions across many business lines and developed the formerly family-owned bank into one of the leading private banks in Switzerland, culminating in his role as Group Deputy CEO.

Since 2016, he is on the Board of ATAG Family Office, on the board of Rheinfinanz AG, and on several other privately held companies and investment firms. He is also Chair for Switzerland of TIGER21, a selective peer membership organization for specially qualified entrepreneurs, CEOs and investors worldwide, with 600 members.

During his career, Eric held many public, non-private and cultural leadership roles including 12 years as the President of the Swiss-German Chamber of Commerce, five years as Honorary Treasurer of the WWF International, and serves on the executive Board as Treasurer of the Cancer League of Basel, SwissPeace Foundation, the Paul Jenni Foundation, Maurice E. Muller Foundation, Foundation Race for Water, as well as leadership and participation in NGOs including Human Rights Watch.

He is an avid and active philanthropist. Eric is married, has four children and lives in Basel, Switzerland.

DAVID BUECHE, Board Member.

David Bueche holds a Master in Business Administration from HEC Lausanne and is a Swiss Chartered Professional Accountant. He is also a member of several Board of Directors and Audit Committees of companies subject to the supervision of FINMA, with the role of independent Director.

He originally joined Arthur Andersen SA in 1986 as part of the « audit financial market » division, and was promoted to the Partnership in 1997. In 2002, he joined Baker Tilly Spiess SA (member of Baker Tilly International, the 8th worldwide largest auditing network of independent firms), as Partner for the financial market department, and works with a wide variety of Swiss and international clients (internal audit, financial expertise, consulting,…).
